Christmas Delights Selling Exhibition

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas …

This year Christmas Delights will run from Saturday, 23 November to Sunday, 5 January 2020 when we will be exhibiting hand-made items created by local designer-crafters.

There is something for everyone and prices to suit all pockets.

From Arthur Alvis’s metal sculptures, inspired by the landscape and wildlife of the Cotswolds, to Clinton Banbury’s ‘make you smile’ wall art and Luise Buckberrys  beautiful pieces of glass; designed to give your home a sense of individual style.

Toff Milway and the Cotswold Woollen Weavers, perennial favourites in the museum shop, will also be showcasing their sought-after salt glazed pottery and woollen throws, scarves, hats and ties.

Cotswold Mosaics will be exhibiting their colourful, stunning pieces and you won’t want to miss Caz Hart’s unique jewellery using sterling silver and Art Clay silver.

Sarah Nicol ‘s coloured slips on functional ceramics, create a fabric-like feel, echoing the textile pieces that inspired them and the colourful, enameled jewellery, hand crafted by Harriet St Leger will make perfect Christmas gifts.

Polymer clay is lightweight, making it the perfect material for Laura Wathen’s vibrant jewellery and Mizuki Takahashi’s mark making patterns on enamelled copper surfaces using sgraffito, create delicate jewellery that will be hard to resist.

For those collecting glass tree ornaments to add to your collection, Lorna Prudden’s brand new designs will be on show.

All of these handmade items are both a joy to give and receive as presents.

So come along, soak up the magic of the festive season and treat yourself to something special from our sparkling array of Christmas delights!
