The Museum ![]() Talented artists, designers and craftspeople have worked in and around Chipping Campden and the north Cotswolds since the time of the Arts and Crafts movement in the early 20th century. The Museum celebrates their lives and their skill.
Museum Shop Exclusive gifts and books are available from the Museum shop, inspired by its collections. Includes handcrafted gifts, contemporary jewellery, locally made pottery, books (click for more on books) and cards. Every purchase supports the Museum. This Spring our Featured Artist is Cotswold Woollen Weavers. Cotswold Woollen Weavers has been in Filkins designing and making fine woollen cloth since 1982. They live and breathe the wool heritage that made the Cotswolds, and draw their inspiration from the soft colours of the Cotswold landscape all around us. Court Barn exclusive We are delighted to announce that we have commissioned a limited edition of high-quality bronze castings of ‘Naiad’ by Alec Miller, limited to 12 castings, one of which will be retained by the Museum for the collection. Miller originally carved two versions of Naiad, one c1918 in alabaster, the other a few years later in limewood. Current and Forthcoming EventsThurs 28 March – Sun 2 June Exhibition: Reginald Sharpley; a neglected Campden Artist Reginald Sharpley (1879-1947) was a civil engineer, Guards officer in the War, and artist who came to Campden in the 1920s. Here, he painted, drew, made prints, hunted, and involved himself in the artistic life of the town. This exhibition comes mostly from family holdings This exhibition is kindly sponsored by Lapstone Thurs 30th May Children's workshop: Create your own Model Village 11 - 12.30 and 1.30 - 3pm If you were to design a village what buildings would you want in it and what would they look like? Come along and make something to add to our model. All materials are provided. Suitable for age 6 & over. Space is limited so telephone 01386 841951 to book your place. Cost £2 per child. John Limbrey worked with Robert Welch in Chipping Campden for more than 40 years.
